Cycling the Pacific Coast
In the summer of 2022, I rode my bike from Bowen Island, Canada to the Mexican border just south of San Diego. I went alone – it was my first big bike trip, my first self-supported bike trip, and my first solo bike trip (that’s a lot of firsts!). I learned a lot about cycle touring, self-sufficiency, and the kindness of strangers.
Patagonia
Starting in January 2023, I cycled 2500 kilometers through Chile and Argentina, from Chile’s capital to southern Patagonia. I battled loose gravel, terrible weather, and a lot of language barriers, but it was definitely an adventure.
